Responsibilities

• Work as interface to support other engineers and colleagues of the global organization involved in analysis / simulation, product development, qualification engineering
• Work w/ requesters to establish or clarify requirements, such as inputs, boundary conditions, expected outputs, etc
• Define the simulation work received and work with Simulation team to initiate the simulation/analysis and explain the requirements if needed
• Perform engineering calculations with Excel, MathCAD based on customer requirements and product structure
• Performs mechanical engineering analysis if need using commercial finite element analysis tools including structural, dynamic (modal, vibrations), & thermal analysis.
• Reporting analysis result and provide suggestions/comments to design and product qualification
• Summarizing the calculation/analysis results and generating reports to customers
• Work with Test/Simulation team for new simulation methodology development, analysis verification and validation.
• Work with Simulation team to develop simulation practice/procedure to standardize the simulation work

• Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineer is required, master or above is preferred
• Experience in the process control or related design field is preferred
• Experience with ANSYS or similar commercial simulation tools is required
• Proficient in Microsoft Office products – Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
• Good collaboration skills, in particular the ability to work effectively in a cross functional, cross cultural environment with colleagues, customers, and suppliers in different locations and countries
• Highly organized, strong detail orientation
